How Does RADIESSE Work?
RADIESSE wrinkle injections take place in one of the treatment rooms at Aurora Bella Plastic Surgery. Injections typically take around 30 – 60 minutes. To begin the treatment, you will be seated comfortably while the injection sites are cleaned and marked. Most patients feel tolerable discomfort throughout their procedure, but if needed, a numbing cream will be used. The dosage of RADIESSE, selected at your personalized treatment planning session, will be placed in a fine needle. The marked injection sites will help the injector to carefully administer RADIESSE. After the procedure is finished, a cold compress will be held to the treated areas to minimize bruising and swelling.

If you haven’t heard of Dr Pacheco, let me tell you that you are missing out. I talked to 14 surgeons (mostly men and about 3 women) before I came across Pacheco. I didn’t have a surgeon explain to me the important lifestyle changes that I should make before I have surgery, and she didn’t hesitate to make me aware of the risks. She wasn’t out of line but more worried for me and insistent that I understand how my decisions could impact my recovery.After a few days of working on myself, I quit smoking (which is the major risk), and the day before surgery, I did a hyperbaric chamber therapy session for 90 minutes. On the day of surgery, I did great. I had a great experience, the pain was a little less than I expected, and I was extremely happy with my results. At my follow up, when I saw my scar and the way my healing was already looking, I was blown away by how great it looked. Most of the women I saw on their first day post tummy tuck, were not as tight as I was and their scars were way more visible than mine. She did such a fantastic job on my scar! Seriously, she is the best surgeon and I did my research to find her. I even read every complaint and found the complaints against her were superficial and really not as bad as the other surgeons I was scouting. Dr. Pacheco deserves an award for the effort she puts into each case, the care she takes with each patient, and the way she conducts herself with confidence and compassion is quite literally amazing. If you haven’t heard of Dr Bella Pacheco, you need to meet her before you have surgery with anyone else. She is the goddess of Tummy Tucks.
