How Does Laser Acne Treatment Work?

Pacheco will slowly move the Icon or Potenza laser around the skin to withdraw oils and destroy acne-causing microorganisms. You could encounter a little tenderness during the session; however, most patients describe it as a slight stinging sensation. The procedure helps improve your skin, enabling you to attain a beautiful appearance.
Aurora Bella Plastic Surgery Reviews
Dr. Pacheco is Great. - I had breast augmentation done by Dr. Pacheco 3/24 and I honestly can't say enough good things about her and her work. She did amazing and her professionalism and bed side manner made me feel at total ease. It was a little anxiety inducing and nerve wracking to not see my surgeon until right before surgery, but Dr. Pacheco was great about taking enough time to answer all my questions and concerns and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I'm tall but slim and smaller framed so I was concerned with getting too large of implants for my body type and had a few consults with other surgeons and ultimately I made the decision to go to PPS mostly.based on the price and reviews for their surgeons, Dr. Pacheco gave me confidence I made a good decision. She spent plenty of time explaining post op instructions and making sure I understood them to get the best results. So Professional Plastic Surgeons, yes this place is run a little different but it's also a budget option so take that into consideration, however the work their surgeons do is great. I thought the staff were great, both front office and surgical but in all honesty this place is run to see as many patients as they can, yes you don't see your surgeon until the day of your surgery, yes it's up to you to make sure you have certain things done before surgery (blood work, mammogram, etc), yes you'll probably have to wait several hours to have your surgery, yes there's not much recovery once youre awake they basically get you out asap. For me these were acceptable since I knew I was getting a very good price and was confident with my surgeon. Post op I didn't see my surgeon, I was seen by an RN the next day to make sure everything looked ok and the clinic messaged me daily asking how I was doing for the first week and then several times a week after that for several weeks and to also send in photos of my recovery. I flew in from out of state snd stayed 5 days to recover before flying back home. I'm quite pleased with my results and do recommend them to prospective patients that are looking for an affordable option, if you're ok with the before mentioned. I plan on using them again for future work.
Dr. Pacheco deserves more than five stars! I got a lift and implant exchange and my boobs look AMAZING! It’s been 2 months since I got them done and I am beyond happy with the results!! I had a bunch of consultations and Dr. Pacheco took the time to explain everything in detail. On surgery day she explained everything again, (how my scars will look, what to expect, how to take care, and etc.) Again my boobs look absolutely perfect! I highly recommend her!!! Thanks Dr. Pacheco, you’re the BEST!!

What Can I Expect from Laser Acne Treatments?
After treatment, men and women might see a little redness, swelling, and slight skin tenderness. Depending on the section treated, we recommend not using cosmetics for a day. Additionally, you should prevent any extensive sun exposure. Men and women will generally see results after 24 – 48 hours. When you come for your consultation, we can determine the amount of treatments you require based on the severity of your breakouts. Usually, patients require 3 – 6 sessions to observe clearer skin.
After laser acne sessions, most patients feel ecstatic. A laser session does what prescriptions sometimes can't do; however, laser treatments can help dry up your whiteheads and leave your skin supple, flawless, and refreshed.

Laser Acne Treatment FAQs
Do laser acne treatments hurt?
No, most people only note minor stinging during the treatment. Quite a few say it is like a "snapping" feeling at first that quickly goes away once the skin becomes accustomed to the treatment. Our team may administer a local numbing ointment to help make your procedure as smooth and stress-free as it can be.
Can acne be permanently cured?
At this time, while acne may be diminished and managed, there is not a "permanent" cure for acne. Virtually every person will deal with some outbreaks of acne at some point in their life. For some individuals, the damage can be significant, but for others, it is rarely, if ever, a problem. This is why Dr. Pacheco offers a multi-spectrum approach to addressing acne that can be tailored to your unique concerns.
Do certain foods lead to acne or make it worse?
By and large, no, consuming specific foods does not result in acne. A lot of research has been done into the relationship between certain food products and acne. However, the principal catalyst for acne is biological fluctuations that can induce the oil glands in the skin to produce too much sebum, which can obstruct pores, causing acne outbreaks. Though unverified, there are particular foods believed to make acne worse, such as heavily fried foods, dairy foods, food that contains saturated fats, foods with a lot of processed sugar, and milk chocolate. The connection between acne and these products is that they might impact hormone numbers, which can trigger acne.
